Najee is responsible for providing logistical, outreach, and strategic support to the Policy & Advocacy team as they address matters affecting charter schools in New York City and throughout New York state. She is also responsible for preparing for and tracking the team’s legislative efforts. Prior to joining the Charter Center, Najee spent nearly a decade managing the Emergency Food Assistance Program within New York City’s Human Resource Administration. Najee received her Master of Public Administration from John Jay College, and also studied English and writing during her undergraduate time at Lehman College.
