April 1 Deadline to Apply to Public Charter Schools Less Than One Month Away
(NEW YORK) – On Sunday, March 6, from 1:00 to 5:00pm, the New York City Charter School Center will be hosting a Virtual Charter School Fair for students and families to learn more about their public charter school options ahead of the April 1 deadline for the common online charter school application. More than 150 schools from across the five boroughs will be represented. Virtual tours and interviews will also be available for members of the media.
Families will have the opportunity to take virtual school tours, speak with local charter school representatives, ask important questions, and learn about the high-quality public education options available to them, all from the comfort of their homes. The event is free and open to all families.

Students, families, educators, school representatives and advocates representing more than 150 schools across the five boroughs.

The NYC Virtual Charter School Fair will feature virtual tours for students and families, as well as live conversations and Q&A’s with school representatives.
