Hundreds of NYC Charter Schools to Host Information Sessions and Campus Tours for New York City Families
(NEW YORK, NY) – The New York City Charter School Center this week announced the launch of “Charter School Open House Month,” an annual opportunity for students and parents to learn more about the high-quality public school options available in each of the five boroughs.
As part of Charter School Open House Month, hundreds of local charter schools will open their doors – both virtually and in-person – to host information sessions, campus tours, and other events for families to explore curriculum offerings, meet school leaders, and learn more about the public charter schools in their neighborhoods.
The Charter Center’s Online Charter School Open House Calendar offers a convenient tool for families to view upcoming events by borough and school type, and those interested in applying can use the Common Online Charter School Application to submit a single application to multiple schools at once. Families are encouraged to submit their application before the window closes on April 1, 2023.
