TOMORROW: 80 CHARTER SCHOOL CAMPUSES OFFER NYC FAMILIES AN OPTION AT 2018 CHARTER SCHOOL FAIR
Free Community Event Gives Parents More Information on Brooklyn, Queens-based Public Charter Schools
(New York, NY) – This Saturday, March 3, the New York City Charter School Center, in partnership with Uncommon Schools, will host the 6th annual Charter School Fair for New York City parents. As the charter school application season prepares to close on April 1, this year’s fair will give families a chance to learn more about their children’s educational options for the 2018-19 school year.
Representatives from 80 charter school campuses in Brooklyn and Queens – independent and CMOs alike – will be on site to speak about their offerings with prospective students and parents. Attendees will be able to apply in person with school representatives or online to multiple charters across the city. The Common Online Charter School Application, available in 10 languages, is currently on track to attract a record number of applicants for the upcoming school year.
