“I congratulate Dr. Betty Rosa on her selection as Chancellor of the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York. Chancellor-elect Rosa brings decades of experience in education working in New York City in some of the nation’s most impoverished communities. She passionately believes that all children in our City and State deserve access to a high-quality education that can prepare them for full participation in our society. It has been an honor to work with her in her position as Bronx’s regent; and I look forward to continuing that work now that she will be chancellor.”
