Charter schools are required by statue to accurately report ELL data to NY state. Within the last two years, there was a business rule change that not only required schools to ensure ELL students were properly tagged in ATS, but also to complete Program Fact records related to ELL students. Schools must complete all of these steps to ensure a student is classified as an ELL student for the 2022-2023 school year.
